Overview
CodePulse provides a live HTML, CSS, and JavaScript playground along with informational pages such as About, Guide, Terms, and Contact. We design the tester so your code experiments can run in the browser without requiring an account. This Privacy Policy describes information practices for the website when it is operated under your deployment. If you fork or host this project, replace contact details and domain references with your own before collecting personal data or enabling advertising.
Information you provide
If you use the Contact page, you may submit a name, email address, subject, and message. Those details are used only to respond to your request. On many static deployments, the form opens your local email application through a mailto link so the message is sent from your own mail account. We do not ask for passwords, payment cards, or government identifiers to use the playground. Please avoid sending sensitive personal data in contact messages unless it is necessary to resolve a support issue.
Code you type in the playground
Content entered into the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript editors is processed locally in your browser to render the sandboxed preview and to power copy or download actions. That code is not uploaded to a CodePulse server by the default static version of this site. Clearing your editors or closing the tab removes the working session from memory. If you download an export file, it is saved on your device under your control. Do not paste secrets, API keys, or private credentials into the editors or into exported files you plan to share publicly.
Automatically collected technical data
Like most websites, hosting providers and browsers may generate standard logs such as IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps. We may also use privacy-respecting analytics in the future to understand which pages are helpful. Analytics vendors process data under their own policies. You can limit tracking through browser settings, extension tools, and platform-level privacy controls where available.
Cookies, local storage, and advertising
The core playground does not require cookies to function. If advertising networks such as Google AdSense are enabled on a live deployment, those partners may set cookies or use similar technologies to measure ad performance and, where permitted, personalize ads. Advertising partners may collect or receive information about your visit according to their policies. You can learn more in Google’s advertising settings and your browser’s cookie controls. We keep ad placeholders visually separate from the coding interface so sponsored units do not masquerade as editor controls.
Open Graph and Twitter meta tags help messaging apps such as WhatsApp generate a preview image and title when someone shares a link. Those tags reference a public image file on your domain; sharing a URL does not transmit your editor contents.
Children’s privacy
CodePulse is a general-audience learning and prototyping tool. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region) for commercial profiles. If you believe a child provided personal information through the contact channels, please contact us so we can delete it where applicable.
Your choices and contact
You may request access to or deletion of personal information you sent through contact channels by emailing hello@codepulse.app or using the Contact page. Because editor content is local by default, we typically cannot retrieve snippets you never submitted to us. For legal terms governing use of the site, see our Terms of Use. Continuing to use CodePulse after updates to this policy means you acknowledge the revised notice when it is posted with a new “Last updated” date.
